Downloads are the original files, with their full file names.

Download one asset

Hover over an asset and choose the download button, or open it and choose Download. When a project’s Metadata files setting is on, downloading a generated asset also saves a JSON file describing how it was made. To get only one of the two, open the asset’s menu and choose Download › Download media only or Download metadata only.
An asset's menu with Download open, offering Download, Download media only and Download metadata only.

Download several assets

  1. Select the assets, or choose Select all.
  2. Choose Actions › Download.
The files download one after another, not as a single zip file. With nothing selected, Actions offers to download everything in the current view. Folders can’t be downloaded this way. Open a folder and select its assets instead.

Download a comparison

While comparing an asset with its references in a tiled layout, Download comparison saves the layout as one file: a PNG for images, or a video when you compare videos. See Review and compare.

Save a copy in another size or format

Open an image’s menu and choose Convert › Resize…, To PNG, To JPEG or To WebP. To keep one frame of a video, open the video and choose Save frame, or choose Convert › Take a frame… from its menu. The copy is free. It’s saved beside the original, marked Derived, and the original stays as it was. Download the copy like any other asset.
