# Ideogram 4.5

> Ideogram's image model, strong at legible text and typography, with masked edits.

Ideogram 4.5 is strong at legible text and typography, such as posters, titles
and signs. It can also edit an image, all of it or only the part a mask
covers.

## What you can give it

* **A prompt** of up to 10,000 characters.
* **References** to edit: the image to change, plus up to 4 more. Each can be
  under 25 MB and up to 8192 × 8192 pixels.
* **A mask** to edit only part of the image. With a mask, you can add up to 3
  more images, and the size stays on Auto. Without a mask, Ideogram redraws
  the whole image. See

## Output settings

| Setting | Options |
| - | - |
| Aspect ratio | Auto, 1:1, 3:2, 2:3, 4:3, 3:4, 4:5, 16:9 or 9:16. Edits can use any ratio. |
| Resolution | 1K or 2K, once you choose an aspect ratio. |
| Quality | Auto, Low, Medium or High. Edits add a lowest-cost level. |
| Quantity | 1 to 4 images. |

## Cost

Ideogram 4.5 is priced per image by quality, whatever the size: about $0.04 at
Low, $0.08 at Medium or Auto, and \$0.29 at High. Prices are as of October 28,
