# Review and compare

> Open an asset, read its details and compare it with the references it was made from.

Select an asset in the Library to show its details in a panel on the right.
Double-click it to open it in the viewer.

## Asset details

The details panel and the viewer show the same information:

* Whether the asset was **uploaded**, **generated** or **derived** from another
  asset, and its type.
* Its name. Select the name to rename it.
* Its labels and folders. Choose **+** beside either to add more, or select a
  folder to open it.
* Its size, format and dimensions, plus the duration of video and audio.
* For an upload: who uploaded it and when.
* For a generation: who made it, what it cost, and the model, prompt, settings
  and references it used.

## Open the viewer

The viewer shows the asset large, with its details beside it.

![A generated image of a man hitchhiking on an autumn highway open in the viewer, with actions such as Use as, Reuse parameters, Compare with reference, Show reference graph, Download and Delete, and its labels, folders, model and prompt.](https://mintcdn.com/zero-gen/m4I7fPs1rAXZSMjU/images/library/viewer.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=m4I7fPs1rAXZSMjU\&q=85\&s=99d982eca49a64d7c2b9288890b41ced)

From the viewer you can:

* **Add to favorites**. Everyone in your organization sees the same favorites.
* **Use as…** to add the asset to your next generation. See
[Use as a reference or frame](https://docs.zerogen.com/generate/frames-and-references.md#use-as-a-reference-or-frame).
* **Reuse parameters** to load a generation's settings back into Generate.
See [Reuse and trace an asset](https://docs.zerogen.com/library/reuse-and-trace.md).
* **Show reference graph** to see what the asset was made from and what's
  been made from it. See
  [Read the graph](https://docs.zerogen.com/library/reuse-and-trace.md#read-the-graph).
* **Upscale draft** on a Seedance draft, including a teammate's. See
  [Draft, then upscale](https://docs.zerogen.com/generate/draft-then-upscale.md).
* **Save frame** to keep the current frame of a video as an image.
* **Download** or **Delete** it.

## Compare with its references

When a generation was made from references, you can see them next to the
result.

1. Open the generation in the viewer.
2. Choose **Compare with reference**. A reference appears beside the output.
3. Under **References**, choose which references to show, up to eight.

![Compare with reference, showing a character sheet of a man in a suit beside the generated image of him hitchhiking, with Stop comparing and Download comparison in the actions.](https://mintcdn.com/zero-gen/m4I7fPs1rAXZSMjU/images/library/compare-tiles.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=m4I7fPs1rAXZSMjU\&q=85\&s=a0ecd28479ad232128602950a06bf11a)

Hover over the media to choose a layout:

* **Tile horizontally**: side by side. Drag the panes to reorder them.
* **Tile vertically**: one above the other.
* **Wipe**: the reference and the output in one frame, split by a divider you
  move to reveal either.
* **Overlay**: the reference over the output, with a slider to blend them.

When you compare videos, they play in sync.

![The wipe layout, with the reference character sheet on the left of a divider and the hitchhiking output on the right.](https://mintcdn.com/zero-gen/m4I7fPs1rAXZSMjU/images/library/compare-wipe.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=m4I7fPs1rAXZSMjU\&q=85\&s=8b39d9ea6cb3dd1bdc1c01aeb63a293e)

**Download comparison** saves a tiled layout as one file. In the wipe and
overlay layouts, switch back to a tiled layout to download. Choose **Stop
comparing** to return to the asset.
