# Organizations and roles

> Owners, Admins and Members, and what each can do.

An **organization** is your team's workspace in ZeroGen. It has its own web
address, such as `your-team.zerogen.com`, its own people and projects, and
one shared balance that pays for everything its members make.

Everyone in an organization can see and work in every one of its projects.

## Roles

Each person in an organization has one role: **Owner**, **Admin** or
**Member**.

## Invite people

ZeroGen is invitation-only. Owners invite people from **Settings › Team**,
and so can Admins when **Who can invite** says **Owners and admins**, which is

## Belong to several organizations

You can be a member of more than one organization, with a different role in
each. When you sign in, ZeroGen asks which one to open. To change, open the
account menu and choose **Switch Organization**.
